The standard race results CSV file format that is produced automatically by the Vsk5 program can be used for the High Point Percentage Ranking application above. The files do not need to be edited or modified in any way. They are formatted using the standard CSV or "comma separated values" format. Each parameter is separated by a comma, eg,... finish position, total player race time (milliseconds), player login, player name.
To the contrary, a modified CSV file must be used with the Fleet Performance application below by editing the file to contain a new first line for specific race course information, e.g,... name, wind force, distance, record time (if any), boat class. The reason is because the distance of the race courses must be included on the first line of the race results CSV files to allow the app to precisely calculate all of the player's average times. Without this additional information included on the race results CSV file the application will not function or display the results properly.

To add AI opponents to a race course hover your mouse over “Editors” in the Vsk5 game menu. Then hold the right mouse button down. As you hold the button down type in the word “friends” with your other hand and then release the right mouse button.
Then click on Editors and then click on Create a new race or Edit a race.
Inside the main race course editor screen click on “params”.
Now you will see the options to add AI opponents into the race.
Choose the AI performance level and number of AI opponents from 1 up to 8. Save the race and close the Editor.
Now that you’re done adding AI opponents into the race course you can go ahead and start the race in solo mode. AI boats are only possible to race against in solo mode.
Note,... The AI opponents have trouble detecting land masses and other obstacles so when editing or creating your race course with AI opponents make sure to leave a lot of open water and not too much land or other traffic that may confuse them. The Pro level AI opponents sail very well.

By adding Vsk5Offline to your Steam Library you can enjoy access to most Steam network features including Steam Link for remote access gameplay on any device and Steam Live Broadcasting. The Steam Community in game overlay works as well.
Simply create a Steam account and then click on the "Add a non Steam Game to my Library" in your "Games" dropdown menu. Upload the game and you're done. You can also customize the game icon image in your library for easy identification.
When you launch Vsk5Offline through Steam by clicking on the game icon in your Steam Library, Steam will launch the game for you. This will not connect you to the Steam network for multiplayer racing as Vsk5Offline is not an official Steam game, but you will still be able to connect with your friends using the default Nadeo network or LAN network for multiplayer racing.
After uploading Vsk5Offline to your Steam Library you can still launch your game as you normally would without using Steam.
Uploading your game to Steam does not restrict your game files or how you launch the game in any way as the game remains on your local system and you retain full control over all of your files.
